The best fishmonger in the area according to local fishermen and also a very good restaurant! At the Poissonnerie Rocavi enjoy a good seafood platter with a glass of white wine or treat yourself to their fish and chips with a good glass of cider!

French Burger Club
The French Burger Club offers fresh, artisanal local products. The burgers and fries are excellent using French meat, they even have a children's menu.
It's not a sit down restaurant, you order from the gentlemen in the hole in the wall and go enjoy your burger for example in the pretty garden at the top of the ramparts just behind!

Prose Café
Bookshop and coffee house, Prose Café is a wonderful place to relax with an excellent coffee, a good herbal tea or cold drink, whilst enjoying the lovely cakes which are a delight.
Catherine is great value, with her interesting and fun personality, she welcomes you to this cozy and bright place, tastefully decorated, with a fine selection of second-hand books. And she speaks excellent english!

La Maison Trop Cool
As it's name suggests, La maison trop cool, meaning the house that's too cool is a new funky place to go and chill in Genêts. Situated in an old house refurbished with some funky vintage decoration it offers local drinks, cheese and charcuterie platters and crêpes which you can enjoy inside one of the cosy rooms (you can even enjoy a drink in the vintage bath tub!) or outside in the large garden. Games for all ages are available and they often have concerts and animations throughout the summer.

A La Marquise des Presles
The famous master chocolate maker Yver chocolatier has been offering pastries and chocolates of exceptional quality for 3 generations.
The tea room proposes delicious treats, pastries, chocolates, macaroons and artisanal ice creams. You can also find their ice creams on the casino square near the beach.
